And What Else?
Aside from his poems, Charles Hartman is most widely known for critical writing on the prosody of free and metrical verse. He has also published books and essays on the work of various modern and contemporary poets; on jazz and other musical forms and their relations to poetry; and on poetry and computers. He directs the Contemporary American Poetry Archive, a website founded by Wendy Battin (1953-2015) that houses out-of-print poetry books.
See links on the upper left of this page to detailed listings of publications, as well as samples of work in poetry, in music, and in programming for language study.
